Kristianna Mugnai joined Lamson & Cutner in May 2022, and focuses her practice on all aspects of Elder Law, estate planning and long-term care planning. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at a firm on Long Island, where her practice was focused in the areas of Estate Planning and Administration, Elder Law, Medicaid, and Article 81 Guardianship.
Kristianna graduated magna cum laude from SUNY Albany with a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric and Communication. She then received her Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. During her time at Hofstra, Kristianna focused her legal studies on elder law and estate planning. She was a recipient of the Linda Carmody-Roberts Scholarship for her commitment to pursuing a career in those fields. As a second-year law student, Kristianna was personally selected by the Honorable Gail Prudenti to participate in Hofstra University’s Center for Children, Families, and the Law’s 17-A Guardianship Project, where she assisted families in obtaining the appointment of a guardian for their children with disabilities.
Kristianna is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and is a member of the Nassau County, Suffolk County, and New York State Bar Associations.
Kristianna’s sustained interest in Elder Law and estate planning, and her kindness and dedication to helping seniors and people with disabilities, make her a wonderful addition to the firm.
