Due to the coronavirus crisis, we are currently doing Consultations by conference call or Zoom meeting.
When you arrive for your Initial Consultation, you’ll sit down with an Elder Law attorney who will make a detailed assessment of your current financial status and Medicaid eligibility profile. The consultation will focus on how to get the care you need, and how to pay for it. If Medicaid benefits are appropriate, the process of gaining approval of a home care or nursing facility application will be thoroughly explained to you.
Every client’s situation, goals, and possibilities are unique. From the outset, we want to fully understand your needs, concerns, circumstances, and goals. Only then will we be in a position to explain the laws and rules that impact your particular situation, discuss your options, and ultimately devise a strategy to get the optimal result for you. During this process, you’ll get a good sense of how we work, how we think, and how comfortable you would feel having us as your attorneys. We believe that our knowledge, experience, professionalism, and personal attention to your concerns, set us apart from other firms.
At the end of the consultation, the firm will map out an effective strategy for protecting as much of your money, income and assets as legally possible. We will give you a detailed plan and almost always will quote you a fixed fee for the legal services that you need.
We believe that working on a fixed fee basis is the best way to handle this process. Our fee covers all the legal work needed to complete your project, no matter how many drafts, meetings, or telephone calls might be needed. We want you to feel free to call us whenever you have a question or concern, without having to worry that it will increase the fee. We would not want any client to make a costly mistake because he or she was reluctant to ask us for further advice.
It’s an inescapable fact: delaying can cost you money. If you call us today, we’ll get you started right away.
