If you’re thinking about estate planning, good for you! Your goal is to make…
Lamson & Cutner will be presenting its Overview Course on Elder Law Planning: “Community Medicaid, Nursing Home Medicaid, and Key Components of Long-Term Care Planning” at Riverstone Senior Life Services in Washington Heights, NY.
The event will take place on Tuesday, October 30, from 3:30 – 5:30 pm. Registration will begin at 3:15, and the class will take place in the first floor Memory Center. Riverstone is located at 99 Fort Washington Avenue, New York, NY 10032.
The course will provide two hours of Continuing Education Credits to Licensed Social Workers and Licensed Mental Health Counselors. Approval to provide CE credits to Certified Case Managers for this class is pending.
The class will provide useful and concrete information about legal options regarding long-term care planning. The information is particularly relevant to social workers, mental health counselors and others who work with seniors and the disabled. The cost of long-term care is often ruinous. People with long-term care needs often use up their entire life savings paying for care, when there are ways they can avoid that disastrous result, and protect themselves and their assets.
The Washington Heights location will make it convenient for people who live in northern Manhattan or the Bronx to attend the class.
Although the class is primarily geared toward health care professionals who need Continuing Education credits, the event is open to anyone who wishes to attend. If you need CE credits, sign up online. If you want to attend but do not need Continuing Education credits, call the firm at (212) 447-8690 to register.
