Senior Law Day is an opportunity for seniors and caregivers to find out how New York’s laws protect our seniors and enable them to protect themselves.  The event runs from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY, and admission is free.

David Cutner will be speaking at 1:15 in the Little Theatre on the second floor.  He will discuss Estate Planning and Elder Law, and how they can work together to benefit seniors and the disabled.  He and other attorneys will also be offering free 15-minute consultations throughout Senior Law Day.

Workshops will be held from 10:00 am – 2:30 pm.  Other workshop topics to be discussed by different speakers include Medicare, Long-Term Care insurance, and housing options, and several workshops will be available in Spanish.

Free consultations will also be available with Geriatric Care Managers, Certified Financial Planners, and Long-Term Care Insurance professionals.  The Welcome & Introductions will include a talk on senior scams.  There is information at this event that will be useful to anyone who is a senior or who cares for a senior or disabled person.  We encourage anyone who is interested to attend.
