Three Key Facts Social Workers Can Use to Start Conversations about Long-Term Care Planning

Cost: FREE, thanks to the sponsorship of

The Bristal at York Avenue, The Bristal at White Plains, and The Bristal at Armonk

Presented by Lamson & Cutner attorney Julia Santo

Course Description:

Social workers are often on the front lines when an older adult is beginning to decline or when a health care crisis occurs. This course will discuss issues that social workers can bring to their clients’ attention to help them understand the cost of long-term care and why planning is crucial.

Planning is often in the best interests of the client as well as their partners, spouses, children and other loved ones. Key fact #1 – in New York, you don’t have to “spend down” all your money to access assistance in paying for your care.

Attorney Julia Santo will describe how to begin the long-term care planning process and what clients should look for when they take action. Sign up to discuss the details and learn the other facts!
