On October 25th, at 10:30am, Lamson & Cutner partner David Cutner will present a course titled “Best Estate Planning Strategies: Avoiding Taxes and Family Disputes, and Assuring Effective Implementation of Your Plan.” CL&L offers its classes at St. Catherine of Siena, 411 East 68th Street, on the second floor.

The course description is as follows: “Dividing an estate is often the source of tremendous conflict among the heirs. If you want to help your family or other beneficiaries after you are gone, it is crucial to plan beforehand. Estate planning and elder law can go hand in hand to protect your assets while you are alive, and provide for your heirs once you have passed on. Learn how a trust can help avoid conflicts and unnecessary expenses, help you avoid taxes, and why you may still need a will.”

This course follows the two courses Mr. Cutner taught previously at CL&L, which were extremely well-received. The Center for Learning and Living offers a wide variety of courses for people aged 55 and older. What makes CL&L’s lifelong learning program so special is “our shared love of learning, friendly atmosphere, lively discussions, and our outstanding all-volunteer faculty of academics and experts.” To sign up for Mr. Cutner’s course, go to http://www.clandl.org/fall-2016-course-description-registration.
