Lamson & Cutner maintains a staff of the most knowledgeable, experienced professionals in Elder Law practice today. You can learn about their backgrounds here.

Jack Lippmann

Jack Lippmann is the firm’s most experienced staff member, and one of Elder Law’s most seasoned professionals. Working in this field for more than 15 years, Jack finds his job as rewarding today as when he first started.

"I think it's important to have a lot of patience with the elderly and their children. You need to support the client every step of the way, in what is often a challenging time for the whole family," he says.

Jack works on Medicaid applications and assists with implementing the firm's sophisticated Elder Law methods. He represents applicants at Medicaid fair hearings when necessary, and has in-depth knowledge about helping clients who have received war reparation compensation.

Jack graduated from Queens College with majors in English and Philosophy, and completed his paralegal studies at Adelphi University, Paralegal Program. He is an avid volleyball and soccer player. He lives in Queens and has a daughter.

Tracy Connors

If you had to choose just one word to describe Tracy Connors it would be "devoted." Tracy has worked in the Elder Law field for over 10 years. She is involved in every aspect of Medicaid application preparation and development of asset protection strategies for clients.

"When I work on a Medicaid application or a trust, I know I have someone’s financial life in my hands, and that responsibility needs to be taken very seriously. No matter how many clients I have, every one is special to me. Sometimes I get a call from a client who's sad or having a bad day, and I'll always take the time to listen and see if I can help," she says.

Tracy went to City College of New York on academic scholarships, and earned a law degree from Cardozo Law School. A multi-talented individual, she also enrolled in undergraduate studies for singing and acting, and worked her way through college and law school. She lives in Queens with her two children.

Lori Jefferson

Lori Jefferson has 10 years' experience working in Elder Law practice, in a variety of capacities. An experienced paralegal, she currently works primarily with attorney Karen Mancuso on trusts, estates, and guardianship matters.

According to Lori, "respect, compassion, professionalism, and courtesy are the most important values when it comes to serving clients well. My function is to make sure our firm's clientele are fully supported and taken care of, and I get a lot of personal satisfaction from that." And clients feel they couldn't ask for more or better service from Lori.

A former full-time journalist, she has worked both as a reporter and a managing editor. Gifted in the arts, when she's not assisting clients, you’ll find her performing with theatre groups as an actress and singer.
