Jason E. Danforth
Jason joined Lamson & Cutner in 2011. Previously, he was the Director of Admissions at a New York nursing home. It was there that Jason saw first-hand how patients and their families are devastated by the costs of long-term care. Patients in need of care as well as their families who came to the nursing home were unfamiliar with, and often overwhelmed by, the complex Medicaid rules and staggering expenses associated with long-term care. After seeing far too many patients losing their hard-earned life's savings, Jason felt an obligation to assist those in need of finding better health care options.
At Lamson & Cutner, Jason works with the elderly on their Medicaid planning and protection of their assets. With proper planning, clients receive the care they need while preserving their assets and protecting themselves and their families from financial ruin. Working with the Lamson & Cutner team, Jason helps address each client's individual needs, and helps to develop and implement personalized strategies in each case.
Jason's earlier work experience was at Bear Stearns Securities Corp. in its anti-money laundering department, and as a law clerk at the Nassau County Attorney’s Office. Jason is a graduate of Long Island University and he earned his Law Degree from Widener University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in New York State, and is a member of the New York and Nassau County Bar Associations.
